X50v pairing question
First of all... hi everybody... i'm new to this great forum and this is my first post.
i'm a "proud" owner of a Dell Axim X50v with 1gb sd expansion card experiencing a problem with a BT device pairing.
this is my scenario:

Axim X50v (no updates made to the os or drivers)
Plantronics BT headset M2500
Jabra a210 BT adapter
CF GPRS & GSM Card

i'would like to route the GPRS card audio output to the X50v via tha jabra adapter but i can't find a way to pair tha jabra device with my PPC. the device is not discovered in any way while i can successfull pair it with the plantronics headset. the problem is that i'd like to hear both PPC sound and GPRS card sound instead of one at a time becouse my headset doesn't pairs with both devices at the same time.
Any idea?
I hope i've been clear i'm not an english mothertongue

thanks in advance!!!

You can't as the CF card only has it's own audio output and does not share it with the axim

You could buy an adapter but this will nearly double the size of what you are carrying round.. at which point a cellphone sounds like a good idea

thanks for your reply but i already have the adapter you're talking about... it's the jabra a210 which takes the audio output from the cf card send it via BT... the problem is that i cannot pair this device with my PDA but only with my headset... and i can't figure out why...

Ahh I understand now. You want to send the audio Into the axim (via BT) and then collect the audio via a headset.

It's a far better idea than the one that I had...
Sorry i can't help.. but if you ever do get it to work then please let me know how you've done it.

Type of CF Card
I was wondering what type of CF Card do you have? I was thinking of doing the same thing. Earbuds do not work well for me because my ear canal is too small to keep it in.

I Have the audiovox atm8000. Dell Uk was giving them away free as part of a promotion... I still think a 5 year old phone is better for voice calls

we're dabbling right at the edge of my knowedge here.. but could it be that the axim doesn't have the right profile (intercom?) needed deal with it comming in. I don't think the axim has the headphone protocol either... and what you want the axim to do is essentially be the headphone for the jabra.

Just wondering if you got the Jabra A210 to pair with your PPC.

Was thinking of using the Jabra A210 with my non bluetooth cell, Audiovox CDM8600 with my x50.

Is the Jabra A210 worth getting?
