Help with Itech Bluetooth stereo headset clip

Hi - I've been a lurker at Aximsite for a few months now, and have only posted a couple of times. Usually I can find answers to my questions by reading the good information here - Thanks! However, I just received a new Itech stereo clip bluetooth device (from Hong Kong) which I can almost get to work but not completely. It works fine with the "Hands-free profile". However, the "High Quality Audio profile" works but the audio cuts out every minute or so, then returns. I've tried my Axim X50v with both A03 & A04 firmware and I've installed a couple of Bluetooth patches I found reference to on another thread. My Bluetooth software still says "version 1.5.0". Has anyone solved this skipping problem? If this could be fixed, The Itech clip would be an awesome wireless solution - you can plug in any stereo headset! Help, please, I've got $100 invested in this and it almost works.

It seems the right way to make this work is to download the Broadcom 1.5 stack (CAB) file, install this cab file.

Download and unzip the 1.6 stack, copy the contents to \Windows file. http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=91405

You have to perform in exact order.

Once you are done, softreset, goto BT manager and select new, Discover High Quality audio device to pair

The HP patch does not seem to work for this headset.
