Universal Battery Extender

Is anyone aware of a battery extender using AAs that can be used to not only charge Axims but also other things like cell phones etc?

I've got a drawer full of alkaline AA's that I purchased before I got into rechargables that I'd like to use up.

I did a quick search on google but could only find "item specific" chargers.

Any suggestions?

When I look at the pic of this charger, I notice that the DC-out plug doesn't look like any DC-in port on my Axim! Is there some intermediate piece that is needed in order to connect this charger to the axim?

Thanks!

The DC out plug should fit into the Power plug adapter that comes with your Axim. If not, you can use a USB sync charge cable, since this adapter also has a USB port. The USB port allows this to be used with any device that is powered by a USB port.

Does anyone know of Canadian dealers for the slim Battery Extender? I find shipping by Global Priorty Express to be really expensive.
