That's right. We've just been advised by Mugen Power that they will be shipping shortly a 3000mAh, "Mother of all Batteries" battery. We've seen the photos and it looks sweeeet.
We will be getting these within the next few weeks and it will be added to our web site shortly.
I think he means instead of protruding from just the battery portion of the back, to overlay the entire back of the axim.. larger area means you can have more power with less added thickness..
Oh ic, Yeah they should design a battery that overlays the entire back of the axim. Instead of having a removeable battery back, they should just incorporate it into the battery.
I've also wondered why they don'w make a full back battery. I've just assumed that in the future Dell will incorporate that type of battery in the Axim design.
that's a stupid size...its too thick. Might as well carry around a rechargeable sync cable and a wall plug...and not to mention you have to change your PDA cover, or clamshell, etc. I think its a bit too over the wall... some people might buy it, but if you cannot learn how to pace the duration of a 2200 mAh, then having a 3000 mAh will not last you long as well.
