Sena Leather Case - Extended Battery Fit
Has anyone used the Sena Leather Case made to fit an x50 with an extended battery, with the standard battery? I am trying to find a slim leather carrying case that can be used comfortably for both extended and non-extended batteries.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Yes, I use the Sena Extended case for both the Axim X50v regular 1100 mAh and 2200 mAh batteries. The extended bottom end of the Sena case is very negligible. And the tight neck (top) of the Sena case makes it harder for the Axim X50v to pop out. I cannot guarantee that the leather around the neck won't stretch over a long period of time, but I have not seen it yet and I've used it like this for like 6 months. And I've slipped it on/off many times.

I like it and I think you won't have any problems doing so just like me.

I have been using the Sena Leather extended case for a couple of months now. It is a great case --- it fits with the ext battery so well ..... I doubt you will ever feel the need to switch to the standard battery (unless you run out of juice). Because of the fit at the top - I don't think you would have a problem using the standard battery also - I can try it tonight if you would like. What I can tell you is the Sena does such a good job of "slimming down" the ext battery that I have never felt the need to swap out.
I didn't think I would, but I use the large battery extensively now and never touch the standard.

hope that helps

Its not the fact that people need to switch to a standard batt or not, I think. In my case, I need to use the standard battery because my GPS mount only allows the slim fit Axim w/1100 mAh battery. So, when I use the 1100 mAh batt, I need to have a case with it. Therein lies the reason why I use the Sena extended case for both batteries ...
