Just Received - ThinkOutside BT Keyboard and Mouse
Just got my ThinkOutside BT keyboard and mouse from Amazon.com.
The keyboard was about 10 bucks cheaper than the Dell Executive one. Plus free shipping and no sales tax.

Installed the drivers and it worked perfectly. I especially like the mouse. With the keyboard and mouse and X50V, you basically have a lighter more portable "laptop" computer.

Its very easy to set up and I didnt really notice any lag time between typing or moving the mouse cursor around. I havent tried it for longer durations so I dont know how long the batteries last. It states about 3 months with regular use.

I would highly recommend this set. I also tried the keyboard on my Palm T3 (downloaded the driver from their web site) and works perfectly on it too.

congrats on the purchase
same experience with mine --- i use it as a small laptop all the time

funny story ----
I have the original dell laptop bag that I got with my Latitude a couple of years ago (i have since bought a laptop backpack that I use). I went on a long weekend trip / conference and wanted to take all of my Axim "toys" along ----- they fit perfect in the laptop bag . I had my printer, keyboard, mouse, cables, gps, etc. etc. -- I guess my "little Ax" was a laptop after all

Thanks. Just wanted to share my experience in case anyone was thinking about getting a BT keyboard. I would recommend the BT rather than the IR ones.

By the way ctstan - printer?? Which one? Not an All in one?? (Just kiddin')

While using Bluetooth battery life doesn't seem that bad.
All I know is I love sitting at home, with my wireless bluetooth mouse and keyboard, hooked up to an LCD monitor using the vga out cable, surfing the net.

These are wonderful investments if you're going to be doing any serious typing (e-mail, word, whatever). The mouse is the best, because a PDA on a keyboard stand is NOT the best situation for a stylus.

They should sell a package deal, those folks at ThinkOutside, that is. Silly rabbits.

The best deals are probably from Amazon.com. See the original post for the links. The keyboard is 10 bucks cheaper than dell's and probably 40-50 bucks cheaper than even thinkoutside's web site, or elsewhere. From what I understand, the thinkoutside and Dell BT keyboard are both the same.

Battery Life (Per manufacturer)

keyboard - 3 months (2xAAA)
mouse - several weeks (3-4 hrs/day use) (2xAAA)

batteries are included for both keyboard and mouse

With WM05, battery life =more

I really am content with the current battery life. My battery life=3 hrs 30 min with Wi-Fi, brightness=almost lowest, cpu=auto...

I have the Dell Executive and rarely use it. Not a laptop replacement by any means.
