Just got my X50v a couple weeks ago, and want to buy something to go in the CF slot.

Besides a memory card, what other options do I have for this slot?

PS: House is busy these days as have a Nawlins family with us last week as do many in our neighborhood judging by the Louisiana car plates.

a USB CF card to plug usb devices into the PDA...

To be honest though.. the best use for that slot is probably going to be a big CF storage card

I spent a little looking for usb host cf cards. Does anyone have experience with any? Just curious if they're mostly (or all) usb 1.1, will they work with most usb mass storage devices. I know for a few gigs I'd be better to go with a cf card, but what about like a 100 gig usb hd?

sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm relatively new to pdas and aximsite.

There seem to be 2 that USB cards. One is vapourware and probably won't ever see the light of day (Twin Paradox). The other is made by Ratoc (try an aximsite search on it). Nobody seems have a lot of positive stuff to say about it though

thanks for the info. I found the ratoc one just after I typed the last post. I never know what combination of words will help me to find the info I'm looking for...

Only person in my grade (9th grade) to have a Dell axim x50v (actually i might be the only one to have a ppc)

Man I havent been on here for waay too long!!!
