Hi guys,

I bought a car charger for my X50v on Ebay recently and when I plugged it in to my PDA, the display pulsed between bright and sub bright.

Has anyone else has this problem. Does anyone knoe if Dell offes a proper Dell part for charging in th car?

what's the max current rating on your charger? I heard some people were having a similar problem cause it was a bit less than 1A.

But of course I'm new to axims and may not know what I'm talking about...

if your axim is set to dull the display on battery power, it might be caused by a loose connection somewhere in car charger.

I think that is true. I have the Belkin 3 in 1 kit (I bought it directly, but Dell also sells it.) It works fine both in the car and the house.

yeah I have the belkin too. It's rated at 2A max, and I have no problems.

Thread about the power requirements for the Axim. Bottom line: The power supply isn't adequate for the X50v.
