Problems with Belkin Wall Charger
I am looking to see if I have a faulty unit or if anyone has had trouble with the Belkin 5.4v 2.0A wall USB charger.

I have read all of the threads about the power requirements of the Axim X50V and that it needs 2 amps to charge while switched on, BUT this unit even though it is 5.4v and 2 amps will not charge the axim with the unit powered up.

Has anyone else bought this charger and got it to work properly or is the limitation that the axim needs to be sleeping while it is charging.

Thanks for a great Forum, I got up and running from a Palm in very little time as the memebers have answered all the questions before for other people.

I have the belkin charger (3 in 1 travel charger), and it has worked for me with no problems. I can use it and have it charging at the same time. So unless they've changed something it should charge while in use. Although I believe the dell usb cable will only charge the unit while it is 'off'.

It doesn't necessarily use 2A to charge. Depending on the situation, like how low the battery is, wifi or bluetooth running, etc it can use from .5A to probably up to 2A.

Maybe someone else knows more.

Thanks for speedy reply!

I thought that was the way it was supposed to work.

I'll see if Belkin has anything to say about it.

Thanks
