As week or so ago I took delivery of a Krusell case, steel swivel and steel clip. See

The standard clip plastic as a "pip" which mounts into the centre of the swivel when it's in the clip to stop the case from popping out of the holder. As you can see from Krusell's site, the "more secure" steel clip doesn't. And here's the problem...
As the X50 is pretty long, it hangs towards the body more than a smaller PDA, which tend to hang more vertically. This "twists" the swivel in the clip which depresses the retaining sping and, heh presto, it unclips itself. I found myself having to pick the damn thing up whenever I got out of a chair or car seat!!
I thought about bending the spring or gluing a "pip" onto the clip but I decided to use a less obtrusive method. I just cut to size an old double-sided "velco" strap (as used in LAN cabling)and wrapped it inside and round the bottom of the clip, below the "working parts". This forces the case to hang more vertically and, try as I might, I can't get it to budge without depressing the spring (i.e. like its supposed to work).
Sorry for my long-winded explination - I don't have my camera with me at the moment and pictures would have been better.
I hope that someone out there finds this useful. Apart from this one snag, I've found Krusell case products to be the best out there by a mile!
