Writeshield AG screen protectors for the x50v
Hello,
I have been trying to find a good screen protector for my brand new x50v I got today and it seems that the writeshield may be the best choice, however, on their web site it says that the AG may cause distortion on the HI Res Screens. Has anyone used the AG on the x50v? or would it be best to stick with the C2?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks ahead
Darren

I've never tried the WriteShield AG screen protector, however I have been very impressed with the C2. It's been on for almost 2 months, and has proved to be an excellent choice. It's very clear with no distortion that I can see. Writing on it is very smooth. The only downside is the reason you'd choose the AG...glare. I use my X50v mostly in my car or at the office, so it's usually not a problem. When I have used it outside in bright sunlight, the screen does get a little hard to see, but it's still manageable.

Unless you plan on using it primarily outside, I'd consider the C2. No distortion, durable (read: very scratch resistant, unlike the horrible ones from Dell), bright and very clear.

Looks like this was your first post. to Aximsite!

new axim x51v....no screen protector?
I just received my x51v yesterday and was surprised to see that they (Dell) did not even include screen protectors!!!!! I mean, $550 and not a single, solitary screen protector? Anyway, are there any stores (Best Buy, Compusa etc) that sell a protector that doesn't have sticky stuff on it....until I can order some writeshield AG or boxwave protectors?

I bought the C2 for my wife's X50v, and the Boxwave for mine. The Writeshield C2 wins hands down. Easier to apply, the edges remain stuck (boxwave lifts at the edges), and much more scratch resistant. I could see the AG being an advantage if you use it outside in direct sunlight as they are very similar to the ones I use on my old Toshiba which I use for GPS use. I think you'll be happy with either writeshield you chose.

Thanks for the replies and the welcome to the site. I ordered the invisible shield before the answers got posted about the AG. Will give it a try and let you know how it turns out. I have a feeling I will be ordering the AG to replace.
Thanks again!

Overall quality of Boxwave's screen protectors are okay, but again I hate the edges being lifted. I keep rubbing on it, but no luck.

Other than that, I definitely recomment anti-glare.
