Pelican Power Brick
I got one of these today to see if it would work with my Axim. At first, I thought there was no way as it says the output is 3.6V@3600mAh. Much to my surprise, it charges the Axim just fine. Anyone have any experience with these as to how long I should expect it to last and whether it will charge the Axim several times or not?

Thanks for that. I had actually posted on that thread before, and had decided not to get one so I didn't have to carry an extra power brick. Today when I get out to my stuff on the road I am going to try a phone charger with the brick, the power input looks a lot like a standard Nokia connector, with a 5V input, hoping that will cure the problem of having to carry another brick.

FYI, I purchased a Pelican "Sony PSP" Car Charger, model PS-6003 last week. After a two day trip, I can say it worked perfectly on the x50v. With BT running for GPS, the power light stayed green the whole time. It would recharge the Ax back up quickly after it had been used without power attached. Pelican's two-hour estimate for a full charge looks reasonable.

I found two PL-6003 chargers on Ebay for about $17 delivered but purchased mine at a local gaming store for $9.99, plus tax. Yep, a store had it retail priced WAY below the ebay guys.
