Change Dell Boot screen?

Is there anyway to change the boot-up screen? Can I replace the Dell picture with a customized one???

As sweet as it would be, I'm not willing to take the risk.

certainly is a pity. I could go for a slick Half-Life 2 or some such start-up screen.

just can't take the risk of flushing down 500 bucks for a boot logo change.

although it is appealing.

well, it MIGHT be a risk, but if it doesn't work, why would it turn your pda into a brick? just because it doesn't boot up doesn't mean it can't be reflashed with a safe ROM. If you look with search, there are a BUNCH of threads on how to come back from a bad rom flash....

yah.. just choose to keep your older ROM when given the option. that way you can always revert back to your older ROM.

Why bother... you only see it for a few seconds and only when you soft reset. I'm not usually looking at my screen during a soft reset anyway.
