Notes field in Outlook not syncing into outlook mobile

Ok I have asked this question once before and did not get it resolved. I have searched everywhere and think it has only happening to my x50v.

When I sync my calendar to x50v; the notes field is empty. I have looked for a setting that I am missing, but cant find it.
Side note: I also cannot add anything into the notes field on my x50v on the sync'd appointments.

All other details of appoinments are moved just no notes.

Hope someone has some input on this

Yes, I ran into this when I first got my X50v. I bought Pocket Informant to get around it, but I also found that if I turned off Switcher Bar and did a soft reset that they worked fine again. If I turned switcher bar on, they quit working again. So I use Magic Button (freeware) which works great and my notes problem was solved.

Well I found my problem!!!
Upgraded active sync to 3.8 from 3.7.1

My main issue w/ MS or Dell is the s/w combo that was shipped to me with the unit from new did not work without upgrading! Got it working, but come on thats just bad.

Well just happy I can see what the heck I am supposed to do and how I am supposed to get to my appointments. Just knowing I had an appointment somewhere sucked!

Hope this helps someone if there ever experience this problem, took me 2 weeks to correct. What Dell tech should have been able to diagnose over phone.

I have the same trouble. My new Axim 50v has ActiveSynch v3.8 but it does not show notes entered with Tasks or Appointment on my PC Outlook. And I can't enter those notes on my Axim.

known issue by Dell I dont think they ever fixed it in the ROM. they broke the notes feature in Rom 2 to 3 I think. the only way around is to NOT use switcherbar. do a reset and use another program like magic button - freeware

Does the X51Vs come with switcherbar still?

Yes, I got SwitcherBar with my X51v

I turned Switcher bar off and did a hard reset. My notes showed for a bit, but disappeared again.
