Help! Cant' login with landscape view

Hey Guys,

As a rookie user of the X50V, I have enjoyed so far with this cool gadget. However, I was caught by this unexpected problem this afternoon. I installed a trial version of "picture password" from softava and it was just expired. Unaware of the problem, I read some word files in the landscape mode and after I turned the x50v on later, it asked me to enter the password. I know my password (a numeric one) but the problem is that I can't enter it as part of the numeric buttons are out of the screen. Besides, there is no scrolling bar on the side so that I can scroll down to press the button. I don't know if this is a problem of the original password program of the windows mobile 2003 or due to the expired picture password. So I uninstalled the picture password through the active sync on the PC but nothing changed. Does anyone have any suggestion on this?

Hi guys,

I refined the search on this wonderful site and found many unlucky lock-out users as I am. Many great suggestions but it seemed to me that the only thing I could do is to do a hard reset. Fortunately I still can back up the PPC using activesync. I think that's the only way I solve the problem. Thanks guys,

Try hard reset without clearing the data. I do not know the software but you could try this before the dreaded hard reset.

how could that be called as a hard reset then? I have backed up my data and did the hard reset. It turned out to be good as if nothing changed.
