Going on Two Weeks with My x51v..help

So far I have been pretty pleased with my axim but there are a few problems that seem to be very consistant:

1. Active sync program on the pda turns on whenever it
wants.

2. My axim would sometimes not see my microdrive and it causes me
to do a soft reset. (happens at least once a day)

3. PDA would sometimes just not turn on. (resulting in another soft
reset)

I'm thinking of calling dell and having them send a replacement.
Just wanted to know who else has these problems, and if these things are normal for the x51v

any help will be great!

Every PocketPC I've ever owned has powered up on a "whenever it feels like it" schedule while in the cradle and connected to a PC. Don't know why, but I found that unchecking your sync on schedule and sync continuously options semi-cures it.

Same here with my X51v

if what you mean by microdrive is the CF or SD card - yes this is a known problem

Yes, this is happening to many who have the x51v.

hI,
The microdrive problem is not new to me.
I'm sure I saw some threads about it regarding X50V.
