if the thread about it don't state anyone got it to work...
then you can conclude its not working.
The author of OzVGA was working on WM5 compatibility

Well, I bought the Axim X51v more than a week ago (see my sig). I was very excited. But I didn't realize that I won't be able to get true VGA. So, It's now sitting on my table and waiting for a hack (like OzVGA/SE_VGA)

Can anybody tell me how long will it take for the hack to be released?

As has been posted several times, in the numerous threads about this topic, a new hack probably won't show up until the WM5 upgrade CD has been released.

Asking the same question over and over and over and over isn't going to make the solution happen any faster!

Now I'm happy to report that my X51v is working in true VGA mode with all the icons in place. :)

Resco Keyboard is also working fine.

Now I'm installing my regular programs (the developpers updating their software for the WM5)
Hopefully X51v will replace my X50v on Monday :approve:

Now my question is:

Where to install the programs (eBooks) I frequently access? BIS, SD or CF card? I need very quick response.

Decide for yourself.....that's the quickest response you can get.

Well I know the answer for the X50v. But not for the X51v. Also Can't do the testing for the SanDisk SD Extreme III 1GB on the X51v (would create a lot of trouble for me). So .....
