Hi.. I have an X51 520Mhz, and whenever I dock my handheld, on the dekstop, I get the icon down in the tray for the device itself, along with 'Acquiring network address'. On the handheld, I get a message box titled 'Pocket PC Networking: Unable to obtain a server-assigned IP address. Try again later or enter an IP address in Network settings.'
If I do an 'ipconfig' on the desktop machine, I see the following info for the Axim (despite the fact that the icon says its acquiring an IP):

On the Axim itself, if I check the IP address for the "Remote-NDIS Host", I see it received an IP address of 169.254.2.1..
The remaining adapters all say 'Not Connected' and are set to obtain an IP from the server.
Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it? By the way, there are no software firewalls installed on the machine itself.
Thanks,
Rick
