x51v VGA vs. True VGA? Ugh!
OK, I thought that I bought the best that Dell had. Now I'm hearing about VGA and True VGA. I've tried to look for some explanations but now my head is swirling. :rolling: Can anybody give me some straight forward understanding on this?
I don't know if I want to start hacking my Ax. Thanks for any help you can give.

You can't anyway, since at this point in time, OzVGA and SE_VGA are not compatible with WM5 on your X51v until the authors update their hacks.

as long as it takes for there to be as little bugs as possible. i'd rather wait than use a buggy program.

Aren't you getting tired of asking the same question over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again?
I know we're tired of hearing it!

Hey, rather than being so negative, how about being helpful... or not saying anything at all! :exc:

Well here is a very usefull thread on this subject:
http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=98163
As for the time it will take - I know the developer needed some files from the new OS , which had been sent to him some times ago. Those apps are non commercial, so I guess it will take some time to update them

That was being helpful.......it was a gentle push to learn how to use the Search button as it will become an invaluable skill in the future. Everyone should learn how to search first, and ask questions later.
Had I been negative, I would have said something like "Why don't you learn how to use the search button instead of creating another useless thread!", or made a post closer to yours. :)

It's unfortunately the price to pay for early adoption.

Not really!
Did anybody ever suggest you to improve on your patience?

You could benefit from that advice.......improve your patience and eventually WM5 will have full VGA support. Asking "Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Is it here yet?" accomplishes nothing except annoying others.

Thanks for your quick but subtle response
