i also use ubuntu (breezy) as my primary os. i haven't yet found a way to get it to sync though. there's a program called synce, but i haven't yet tried it. for now i jsut boot into windows whenever i need to sync something. for software i usually just try to see if i can get a cab instead of .exe and then i can just copy/paste it onto my sd card with my card reader.

let me know if you get the syncing working.

Managed to sync with Debian

After weeks of trying (okay more like 1 week) I have finally managed to access my X50v via Debian Linux. All it took was a kernel upgrade to 4.6.8, Synce and perseverance. Next step is get it to hotsync. Then I need to find a way to sync my calendar, contacts and tasks on the Axim. It syncs from the Axim to Evolution but changes on Evolution are not reflected back. If anyone's interested I'll keep this thread updated.

I have previously started a thread on this. It has some information you may find useful. Along with a screenshot.

It is at at http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=74749

I have also sucessfully gotten syncronization and pass-through internet connection working correctly through bluetooth. If anyone has any questions, i'd be glad to answer.
