Internet thru ActiveSync?

Hi All

I am new to the world of PPC so I don’t know when I have made a mistake, my X51V has a problem or what.

Should I be able to access the internet when my Axim is in the cradle connected to my PC which has internet connection with my cable system. I have no WiFi or Bluetooth on my PC.

If I should be able to connect (I can’t now) what setting should I make? Will they be on my PC, on the Axim, or Activesync?

My PC is an Inspiron 1100 with XP home, service pack 2.

turn on the activesync on ur pc...i forgot where u go to...but look for "passthru connection" and may sure it is check

OK, Open ActiveSync, go to File, Connection settings.
There you will see "This computer is connected to" -Automatic
Change the dropdown arrow to.....The Internet
Thats It!
You can go to IE and try to connect
