Moving My Documents folder

Is it possible to move the default location for 'My Documents' folder from the main memory to SD card?

You can't move it but you can create another My Documents in your SD card; in fact, this is good practice to make searches more efficient. If you want to sync with My Documents in your SD card try the free utility MobSync.

One thing I found about My Documents folder is that if you create one in your Built-in Storage, one in your SD/SF card (delete the file named ignore_my_docs) , you will have three including the origimal one located in \my Device. Doing this will allow you to move files to the Card and/or BIS and view them to save space on your main memory. As an exemple if you create a Word File and place it in any of the My Documents folder you will be able to see the file in the list when opening Word. The same goes with TSK files (Background Today screen pictures) Windows mobile show you and give access to the files located in all the folder "My Documents" created. Below is a picture of three Allo files created one is in BIS one in the Root of My Devices and the last one is in my SD card. I open PocketWord and can see the three files. The icon is different to remind you that the file isn't at the root but store in another My Documents folder. I hope this helps you. :approve:
