X50v + WM5 - white screen / turning on while in cradle

Hi Guys,
I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I tried to search through all the forums and foudn little to no information.
Anyways, randomly while my x50v is in the cradle charging my screen will either go white or the axim will turn itself on. I'm relatively pleased with WM5 so far, haven't done any major testing. However, I need to be able to charge it in the cradle without worrying about it being on all night or the white screen.
Any suggestions (besides going back to 2003se)

I've also gotten the white screen screen a few times since I've upgraded my x50v to WM 5, and the only recourse is a soft-reset. Why does it happen? I'm not sure. I suspect it must be one of the 3rd-party software that I've installed but I haven't had the time to track it down.

well I can tell you its not a 3rd party software. Because I tested it on a fresh install.
However, for me I don't have to do a soft reset. Just press the power button twice and i'm good.

I experience the same problem at times with my X51v. That fact that you're experiencing the problems with the X50v is actually a good thing. It means that there is a DEFINITE problem with WM5, and that it is the OS that is causing so many problems for us X51v owners. I urge all of you to report this to Dell and explicitly tell them that you have WM5 installed. We need that update!!!

I notice this problem if I try to sync my PDA when the wireless was turned on. It only happened if the wireless is enabled, but the PDA is off when I put it into the cradle. If I turn it on first or make sure wireless is disabled first, there is no problem at all.

It's preparing for the screen alignment process, but stuff is still running in the background. Wait a little longer.

No more blame to the OS only. Its a problem of the OS and the hardware interface!!???
(I'm not in a position to make this comment given that I've almost no knowledge about OS and hardware. But I did it anway)
Dell should come forward quickly with a solution to this problem.
