But, it is really an upgrade! I wish this were easier and I didn't have to hack. International companies never play well together. Case in point: I can't download music from iTunes Japan because the pay structure in Japan is different than that in the US - and so Apple has to play by their rules so it doesn't get sued into oblivion. I'm sure this is also why Dell/Microsoft make this so hard. Anyhow,

I followed this tutorial to flash my a05 english to a02 Japanese x50v. I was scared because at first the screen was dark and never turned on, but eventually I saw the Dell screen (after another hard reset) and viola! a Japanese PPC.

Im gonna try it tonight ! but, can you explain me something ? Where do i find a "hex editor"?, what file im gonna edit ? and what values do i need to change, just to bring my spanish 2003 to english ROM and then wm5 ?
