my x50v doesn't allow me to replace msim.96 file, saying that there is a sharing violation, the file is in use. ?

Although the nice Blueish/Yellow keyboard is now replaced with a simple white one.
Also there are still some icons missing like the Modem Link icon,
Mobile word trows some errors when starting.
That arethe problems i enceunterd sofar.
I supose ripping the dll's from a QVGA WM5 rom would solve this.
But asfar as i know that can't be done via resco or file explorer (i tried)

same over here. icon missing for modem link and some text display problem. here's some screenshots on my japanese-enabled x51v.

U can't do that through active sync. first u have to copy all the files to storage card. and then overwrite throught 3rd party file explorer like resco file explorer. make sure you enable 'show hidden files' in options. hope this helps.
I found out that the keyboard is too small for me. 1/4 of the real size. anyway to make it return to the original size ?

Can someone explain what this app is used for? I have a new x51v and thought it was full VGA by default.

The screen is VGA but WM5 still display QVGA by using anti-aliasing. by enabling full vga, u get 4 time more display area. Worth trying and you will be impress :approve:
