Installing software?

Am I right that when installing software on the Axim it also gets install on your desktop? And It may not even run on your desktop? The manual is kind of lacking in this department. Thanks

Software is installed on your desktop only if the program comes with a desktop application.

An example would be Ewallet & List Pro.

many programs that do nothing on your desktop still install on it. that's why i mainly like to use cabs to install so i cna avoid having a bunch of crap on my pc, but sometimes it's unavoidable. i have no problems with programs that actually DO something on your computer like ewallet or something, but most programs just install some random crap on your computer.
