Memory and moving programs

I have an x50v which i love, but just got OCN5 which requires a ton of free memory.

So I understand I can move SPB pocket plus and weather to BIS or SD card...how do you do it? If I move the folders themselves, does the op system know where to find the folders? Or is there some kind of registry that needs to be relinked? Or do i uninstall and reinstall?

BTW, whats the max free memory you can have? Doesn't seem like much...

yeah just uninstall and reinstall in BIS or a card, thats the easiest way. My max free memory is usually around 31mb after a soft reset and about 29mb with programs loaded, but i have only pocket mechanic saved to RAM all other programs are in BIS or on a SD card. As long as you have about 20mb for running programs you should be fine.

I also heard SPB Plus could be moved to BIS. I wrote their customer support & they stated it was still recommended that the software remain in the main memory. So I did not move mine.

If you do plan to move the program I would do a backup of the settings in SPB Plus & then uninstall. Reinstall to your BIS.
