Battery drainage and spb pocket plus

I was having problems with battery power and programs hanging until I removed SPB pocket plus. Now everything is fine, not great but fine.

Strange, have been using Spb Pocket Plus for a while now with no problems. I assume you had the latest version?

Someone else reported that the battery meter at the top of the screen is causing battery drains. Try turning that off if you have it on.

No problems here. I posted in another thread that I had ZERO problems with battery drain, and later that day I started having problems. I used the ActiveSync schedule fix to resolve that issue and have been battery-drain-problem-free since.

I use Resco File Explorer and Spb Pocket Plus. The Today Screen plugin for Resco is not installed at all, but the Pocket Plus battery meters (top of the screen and the tab one) are chugging along just fine. *shrug*

I have used SPB Plus for one year now with no problems.

Your difficulty may be a conflict with another program that you are running.

Under WM5? Pretty imperssive as it's only been out for about a month - two if you have the X51

Chetola probably meant he's been running spb for a year on his WM2003. Don't be a smart a$$.

I think this post is more about WM5 than the x51. Has anyone been running Pocket Plus on a WM5 device without problems?

I do agree with Richjpr. I reckon there is some kind of drainge battery problem when battery is being showed at screen's top. Of course I mean using WM3.

When I first installed pocket plus started to notice that battery lasted less time than used to last. Then I solved turning off the bloody battery bar. Now lt's working fine.

The info under the guys name says it is an x50v and they said nothing of WM5. So I assume it is an x50v running WM2003SE. But if not then the post should have said so.

What other programs are you running? And could you please specify how much the battery lasted before and after you used pocket plus?

No problems here :approve:
