video out

I was wondering about using the video cable from the presentation pack to turn x51v into a streaming internet video receiver for a tv set. Can x51v be connected to AC power source, and at the same time have video-out cable plugged in, or it has to run on battery if video-out cable is used?

My question was how would x51v be powered if a vga cable is plugged in -- by battery only, or is there a way to connect it to AC power at the same time...

The VGA cable adaptor available here for $28.50 http://pc-mobile.net/ax50.htm has two connectors, one vga port and one Power connector. If you unplug your AC Adaptor from your cradle you can plug it in to power your x51v.

The Dell VGA cable has a power port on it.

Is there a RCA output cable??? I don't think thats what he meant.
You need a VGA to RCA (composite video) adapter.
