Axim 51v Sync with Outlook(not Server)

Guys,
I love my 51v so far,except for the fact that I installed outlook 2003 to be able to synchronize(was using Thunderbird before)tasks/contacts/calendar and it does not work.
We do not use MS Exchage Server at work,simply an email server.

Now,what do I need to do to make my Active 51v sync up with my "local" Outlook on my Laptop,over USB ?

It should work out of the box... Do you have Service Pack 2 for Outlook? I've read somewhere before where people were having similar issues and installing SP2 fixed it.

thanks for your answer.
I installed SP2 for Office 2003 but still have the same issue.
Essentially looks like Activesync 4.0 is synchronizing only the shared folders on my mobile device.But nothing about outlook contacts,tasks etc...
What am I missing ?

I had to delete the connection to my Axim 51V since I installed Active Sync BEFORE Outlook 2003.
After I plugged the Axim back in,it started the connection wizard that had all tasks,contacts,emails etc available as "synchable items" which were not dynamically created when I installed Outlook

Anyway,I hope someone else will find this useful...
