A couple of annoyances with WM5 that I hope someone can help me with. PLEASE READ

Ok, I've had my x51v for 3 weeks now and everything is great except for a few minor annoyances that I hope someone can help me resolve:

1) I have Wisbar Advance 2 installed and the rotation is severely delayed. Is there a way to increase speed? It takes about 3-4 seconds to complete drawing of Wisbar after rotation. Without Wisbar running, the rotation is instantaneous.

2) I've noticed that the WLAN utility icon dissappeared a couple of times. The only way to get it back was a soft reset. Anyone else had this problem? Any solutions?

And my BIGGEST annoyance:

3)After I restore the system from a backup and then synchronize with my computer. All the tasks, contacts, and calender events gets duplicated on my PPC and in Outlook. This is VERY annoying. I've been manually deleting the duplicates. My question is, is there a way to prevent this from happening, or if not, is there a easier way to remove the duplicates than manually deleting them?

PLEASE, any help will be appreciated.

Glad to see you followed up with a 'SOLD' message in the newsgroup :).

1)
What version of WA2 are you running?
Does this happen with all skins or just select ones?
Contact Chris, the developer of WA, he figures out problems real quick:

2)
Are you using any other wireless (3rd party) utilities? Might be some selfish Application trying to hide the standard utilities.
Since the icon is there after a soft reset, when does it dissapear? What do you run before this happens?

3)
I've had this happen to me. In active sync, there is an option somewhere (can't remember exactly where, and don't have AS installed right now) where you can specify how to synchronize information. I think it was just a tab in options...I'm pretty sure that fixed it for me. Also, it's possible to automatically remove duplicates, again, I can't remember exactly where, either in the standard Calendar Application or Pocket Informant.

MemMaid has an option to do this. Search for 'Running the Notification' on the page.

WebIS Toolbox also allows for removal of duplicates.
