This is the answer to my problem! - BUt I do not understand the answer. Where is this string I can change to add comports.

resco registry editor worked for me. Just added com6, com9 to the string, closed the editor and now com 6,7,8,9 ports are available in the BT manager !:approve:

Resco makes it a lot easier. For those who use other reg editors (eg. PHM) you can also add Com ports by adding to the string: 43 00 4F 00 4D 00 3(com port) 00 00 00 00

example: if you're going to add com 6, take out 00 from the end of the original string and append the string with 43 00 4F 00 4D 00 36 00 00 00 00

String should now look like this 43 00 4F 00 4D 00 37 00 00 00 43 00 4F 00 4D 00 38 00 00 00 00 to 43 00 4F 00 4D 00 37 00 00 00 43 00 4F 00 4D 00 38 00 00 00 43 00 4F 00 4D 00 36 00 00 00 00

37 for Com 7; 38 for com 8; 36 for com 6; etc.
