A broken screen is not covered by warranty unless you bought the accidental damage plan.

http://www.pocketpctechs.com are your best bet.

Don't blame Dell. I used to have an Ipaq with the exact same problem. HP's response was the same as Dell's. What'd I do? I upgraded to a X50v.

While I can understand and appreciate your frustration since I've been-there, done-that, It's not Dell's fault that the screen broke, and they're not responsible for replacing/repairing it unless you bought accidental damage protection.:bang:

Just how broken is it? if it's just the digitizer (glass top), a new one can be had for $65. the whole screen is $199--either way you would still be saving quite a bit. Granted you would have to do it yourself, but it is quite an easy procedure. all the info can be found here: http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2...gory_Code=DELL

if you go that route, let me know. I would be glad to walk you through the job

They should be able to get you a copy of your invoice if you didn't retain the one that came with the Axim.

Go to PDASmart.com; phone: 512-258-4500; excellent service (within a week from time you send it and receive pda back). On their website are their reasonable prices. I can vouch for their service quality as well. Have been dealing with them over 3 years for various pdas (HP, Compaq, Dell Axim x50v -- even Palms :approve: . I believe you will be very pleased.
