Question Can anyone copy and paste wep/wpa keys in WM5?

I cant copy/paste my 63 character WPA/TKIP key from a text file into the the wireless settings for my home network.

I used a random key generator to create my WPA key and its a real pain to hand type it in.

Has anyone else had this problem?

It worked perfect under WM2K3, it doesnt make sense...

I just tried and it didn't seem to work :(
If I remember correctly I had to manually enter my wep key after I upgraded to wm5.

I've noticed that keyboard shortcuts (a la Windows) work on the PDA as well. You may want to try bringing up the keyboard and highlighting your key then hit Ctrl+C then in the move the cursor to the space for you WPA key and hit Ctrl+V. I have done this for registration codes on my x50v, and it works flawlessly. Give it a try. :)

Ditto. I was kinda peeved because my WPA key is a 63-character, randomly-generated key...and I had to type it all in, by hand, TWICE.

As usual, so called security enhancements simply make life more difficult. Was this really necessary?

What I did was install PHM powertoys (http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=766) and used the clipboard input panel. If you paste something to the input panel, and then use it paste into your app, it simulates typing, so it worked. It's not VGA aware, but it worked.
