Can't restore backup after updating x51v ROM

I tried backing it up and all it says is that there is not enough room on the card, and I selected backup to NETWORK!!!!!!!
Also, people are reporting that even if you can backup, you can't restore it. Is this true?

Yep- it says that the backup was made with an earlier version (2003) and cannot restore to the WM5 device.

Yup I got the same error, it wasnt a big deal for me since I didnt have much on my axim at the time.

My data came back from the first ActiveSync try. I had to reload all of my applications and unique settings of course. I did do a sync prior to starting the ROM update process and copied that to another folder along with the My Documents contents, but did not need to. Now we will see how the issues go today.
