Posting from my X51v

I just upgraded my ROM to A04. Installed a demo of iLauncher, and now connected to the internet wirelessly on my AX :)

It actually took me about 5 minutes...I think I got a little lucky too.

Wow. Browsing the web really drains the battery. Definitely not something you'd want to do for to long. Maybe an hour if you're lucky.

I got 2.5 hrs with about 25% left on the OEM battery, browsing the web! - Processor set to Auto.. If your Axim's battery drained in about an hr.. something isn't right with your battery..

Battery Life

Haven't tried to drain the battery but, I can surf for an hour,
games, work, still plenty of "juice" left in the battery.
I might guess, mixed-use, could use the Ax all day.

Naturally, the Ax's are in the cradle all night, every night.

Same result from both Ax's (X50 High & X50v). :approve:

I keep, mostly for safety, a spare 1100ma battery in both
cradles. Haven't found too much use for the spares. :)

i have the extended battery, keep it on auto, and am able to use about 3 hours of internet (not constant moving, but internet where you are actually reading things long enough that allows it to dc periodically) plus i use it as an ebook reader and get hours of that too.

i really have no problems with battery life. lowest i've ever gotten it is 25% before i got home to the recharger.

i carried the original 1100 with me when i first got it, expecting to change out periodically while at work, but it was never necessary. wonder why you get such bad energy consumption out of it.

Pretty neat, huh? I get about two hours, give or take, when I'm browsing.
