The start menu icons sometimes are blank--how to fix it?

In WM5, I noticed some if the icons don't display the pictures on the start menu. How do I fix it?

The only time I've seen something like that was when I had a program installed on a memory card and the card wasn't in the device. The icons reappear after a soft reset while the card is inserted.

i disagree with ikehiker and the other gentleman: i always have the blank icon problem, even with the card in, and even on WM2003se. see my soloution which may or may not work for WM5:

for me, using WM2003 SE, after soft reset, normally some icons at start menu are blank. what I did is just.. go to menu "Start->Setting->Menu" then.. you will see the tree of programs that you installed. I just uncheck and check again one of the programs that you wanted to put in start menu. It works.

yeah but why do that when you can just drop this incredibly small application in startup and never have to worry about it again?
