Oh yeah, I've seen it. I'm currently designing a binary Usenet reader, and I've found that when working with GDI device contexts, when system memory gets low (ie down to about 10K) it will lead to corruption of graphics in all running apps. This happened in wm 2003 on an x50v, and with the wm5 upgrade. The problem actually seems to be comming from a memory leak in the OpenNETCF 1.4 library. Something that's used in a lot of commercial apps. Long story short, it's most likely a software thing, and not so much the axim itself.
