x51v Security
I've just purchased a x51v for home/work purposes. I'd like to be able to store a list of my customers' data (VNC details, software activation details, desktop user/pass, domain info etc etc). What would be my best method of storing this on the pda? Obviously most of this information is sensitive, and while i can lock the pda itself, i wanted to add abit more security to the whole process. Whether this is via passworded excel (can pocket excel handle passwords?), an encrypted database, something written in vs.net 2005, or a bought package! Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd go for Excel, a least it has structure over a plain Word doc. Databases seem a hassle with PDAs, although I did get into XSForms for a while which store data using XML - but no encyption.
From the Edit Menu in Pocket Excel, choose Password... and there are your options!

I have Excel Mobile and it doesnt seem to have any password options there, are these 2 seperate products?
Excel would be the easiest route for this, if its possible.

In Pocket Excel (on my Axim X5), open or create a workbook so that you are running Pocket Excel and can see all the menus at the bottom of the screen (New, Edit, View, Format and Tools).
If you open the Edit menu there is a "Password..." option near the bottom where you can specify the details.
I'm not sure how Excel Mobile differs, but if there is a File or options menu, it may be hidden in there. :approve:

How annoying :( ! Perhaps a third party file password program is what you need, sure a Google will throw up some options.
