Question Upgrading to AS 4.1 and PPC 2003 Smartphone ?

I have an Axim 51v on order.
So, it means I would need to upgrade to AS 4.1.
However, I also have an SPV E200 Smartphone with PPC 2003 (not SE). I Sync over BT and USB cradle with that device.
Now please tell me (I already looked at the AS troubleshooting Guide first):
-1- What will be the possible pitfalls ? (I want to use both devices with the same PC)
-2- Can I simply Upgrade my AS 3.8 install (or do I need to uninstall AS 3.8 before upgrading to AS 4.1) ?
Thx!

1. You should be fine as long as each device has a different name.

2. Yes, you can do an in-place upgrade without any trouble.
