Two programs that I know can do this are Tweaks2k2 and SKTools. Both are shareware. Not sure if there is a freeware program to do it.

Thats funny, I remember actually seeing a counter for resets in the system options, but I just remembered that it was in Tweaks2k2.net

You can do this yourself by editing the registry. The counter is held in HKLM\Comm\BootCount. Set the value data (DWord) to 0 or whatever number you wish.

why would you want to change the amount of resets it says you've done?

unless you mean just to see the amount.

One reason that I can think of is to see how often the Ax has to be reset or rebooted in a given time period, say a week or a month.

You could reset the count to 0 when you are selling the unit...

2 Benefits:
* The buyer doesn't know that you reset your unit 20 million times
* The buyer starts off his 'ax-perience' with 0 resets, so he/she can know how many resets he/she did.

The reason why I may reset the counter,is to see how many times i rest the damn device over a time frame.
