Make sure that after you view your com port assigned to your device (axim) on your pc, that you click on the com port number shown on your pc that was designated for your device, after you click on the assigned port.....go down to bottom of that same screen and click ADD. This will add that com port to your axim list of usable com ports *remember that number* You will be given a choice INCOMING or OUT GOING (choose incoming) NOW watch your PDA-if you have a password you will need to type it on your PDA. Then open active sync on PC desk top-click "FILE" then choose"CONNECTIONS SETTINGS" look for "ALLOW SERIAL PORT OR INFRARED CONNECTION TO THIS COM PORT" *must put checkmark in the above left side box* THEN on the right side pull down menu of the serial-infrared com port-choose the com port assigned back at BT setting (remembered number) Now on the PDA-bluetooth turned on.....open BLUETOOTH MANAGER>>>find and click NEW. Choose--ActiveSync via Bluetooth **Read those instructions provided on pda to finish off the connection** Using my Axim X30H as an example.
