Must I Rollback to Rollforward

I'm on my second go around with WM5 on my x50v. I am plagued with the slowmo bug. Otherwise known as filesys.exe. Everything runs slow sometimes.

I am usually not a jealous person, but I kills me to see so many people so happy with their WM5 performance.

So, crazy as it may be, I want to try upgrading a third time.

Question - must I first rollback to WM2003SE before upgrading again to WM5, or can I just install a WM5 upgrade over my existing WM5 OS?

I know the lazy way out is usually not the best, and I may just be keeping problems under the new installation, but does anyone know A) if WM5 will reinstall over itself and B) will it work any better?

I just hate to spend the time rolling back just to roll forward.
