Why is the power button on my X50v blinking green? Has it always blinked green while on and I didn't notice it or is something wrong? I didn't notice it until I installed a dictionary on my pda.

I just noticed that when I turned it off it continued to blink green for a period of time and then stopped. That, I know, it's never done before. Any help is apprectiated.

Shouldn't be blinking. Be sure the battery hatch is secure.

If the blinking continues, folding a business card in half,
place on the battery before putting the battery cover back on.

This has be an issue for some at times. The little switch activates when the battery lock is opened or closed. You might need to deliberately close, securely.

It could also be a notification. An alarm or task or a voip call. There are many apps that use this notification technique.

You could download memMaid and use this to find notifications if you don't know which program is causing it.

Thanks, I'll try both suggestions.

The only time I've had a blinking green light was when my battery was so low that it was about to hibernate. It may mean you have to charge it asap.

Its blinking green only when there is an alarm you set and its reminding you to switch on your PDA and look at the alarm/system event you need to check so you don't miss it.
