Email, Calendar and Contacts Solution

I've already searched the forums but can't find exactly what I'm after.

Here's what I think I should be able to do but can't figure out what services / software I need.

I'd like ana IMAP email provider to store all my email and access it from my home PC, PPC when on the move and work PC (via outlook or webclient). I think there's a few places that already offer this. What I'd also like to do is sync my contact and calendar to the webclient using something like intellisync but I can't find anyone that supports both IMAP and intellisync.

I can't use my PPC to connect to my work PC and sync as they're very strict on IT policy and won't let me install my own software - hence the webclient idea.

I'm happy to pay for the email service assuming it comes with spam protection etc.

Anyone have any recomendations / thoughts? I imagine this is a fairly common scenario.

Cheers.

Aside from Yahoo or AOL, I don't think you're going to find much web-based sync SW, as you would need it to be encrypted. I think AOL has their own software to sync with a PDA and it will Sync E-mail, Calendar, contacts....

Better idea - If you do have AOL, you can get the AOL client for PPC for $20. That way, all you would need is a Hot Spot and you can access AOL directly through the client. If you would rather sync Calendar and Contacts, I'm still pretty sure you can use AOL's software to sync your PDA, but you'll have to check. I myself don't use AOL, but did experiment with it a few months ago.

Switch to a internet email service like Yahoo or Hotmail. You can access it from anywhere a WiFi is available and they have other features besides email.

I think Yahoo maybe the way forward. I'll go and do some experimenting. Thanks.
