Rollback to ROM Version A04

Does anyone know of a way that I can rollback to ROM version A04 from A05 for an Axim x50v?

Don't know why you would want to do that since A05 is a very stable ROM update. Anyway, you would have backup the A04 ROM image when you updated it to A05. Restore that image and you are back to A04.
If you did not backup, go to Dell's website and find the A04 ROM update file. You can find it in the FTP page of the Drivers and Downloads section in Tech support.

The reason I'd like to rollback is that on my last A05 upgrade I restored an entire backup. I think I should've just restored the PIM backup and re-installed the apps seperately to start afresh.

I've tried rolling back to A04 and A03 from A05 but I keep getting error messages. So it looks like I'm stuck. I should've done a second back up before restoring... lesson learnt!
