VGA Brute + Tweaks2k.net
What do i need to do to get this to work with my x51v?

I've read the posts on here and still see no difference when trying this!

I have Tweaks2k.Net. Do i need something else like ozvga or se_vga? All i want to be able to do is run some programs (Resco Explorer in true VGA mode).

The steps i am carrying out are as follows:

1. Use Tweaks to patch the .exe
2. Soft Reset
3. Run the .exe

But nothing happens!

Any help in this matter would be great!

I would hold off doing anything. I have another post running where I think Tweaks2k.net has killed all my installed applications:

I have sent an e-mail to the above chappy and will let you know his reply. It may not be his application causing the issue but if its is be very aware about what you are doing.

Unlike OZvga.. The Tweaks2k Brute force thing only works with certain apps...

Nice of you to be interested. I am indeed a Scotsman from Scotland lol. I have been working in the Oil and Gas industry for the last 8 years as an engineering consultant. I bought an X50V for the missus earlier this month for controlling her fledgling small business and while getting her X50V setup I began to covet it. My desire for her.......PPC....lead me to purchasing an x51v. I havent quite worked out what I am going to do with it but will enjoy finding out.

Is there a post for these intro's its fascinating be able to build a profile to a name.
