So how long does your x51v take to exit suspend?

Mine takes about 1 minute before I can use programs without lag after I resume from a simple suspend(not a complete power down). In contrast, my old Palm, with a mhz rating of about 25 at best, is instant on with no lag or anything after coming out of suspend.

Is this normal, or is my unit borked???

Hey,
No i think its normal mine takes about 20-30secs which is still a VERY long time since i migrated from a T5 and honestly speaking... what a mistake that was! if it wasn't for the built-in Wi-Fi i would go with the T5 hands down! more stable, faster, and efficient...

Been using a Tapwave Zodiac (PalmOS based) for the past few years, and recently bought my x51v.

By suspend, does that mean press the on/off buttom at the top of the unit?

If so, my x51v seems to come up immediately, right where I was.

EDIT: just checked, it does come back up immediately on mine, no matter what program(s) are running.

Yes, I mean on/off from the button. Mine comes on immediately also, but can you open IE for example, without lag? It seems like there's a memory swap process or something going on when you resume. Suspend on Windows XP, for example, is pretty much instant on. WM5 seems to be a memory and system hog to me.

Some proggies definitely take a few seconds to load up, but generally things are fairly snappy here.

PIE comes up in 1 second for me. <_< Just tried it.

Maybe I'm just really lucky?!

I always keep "error reporting" and "beam receive" set to OFF, maybe that helps? No idea really.

My x51v ROM 104 comes back on immediately and also only takes 1-2 seconds for PIE to open.
