cf dissapearing question HELPPPPPPP!

fellows, every day i have the same issue before i use GSPLAYER. My compact flash dissapear.
i have x51v device with a04 update installed that supose to solve that issue.
the only way is to soft reset, any help with this? im not glad of soft reseting my axim 3 or 4 times a day :(

Depending on which thread you read, the next update from Dell (A05) is due out 1. By the end of December 2. By the middle of January 3. Never

This update should fix the Bluetooth problem and the disappearing flash card. Check the Dell support site occasionaly and resign yourself to doing soft resets for a while.

Another fix is to turn on your BT and leave it on even when turning off your unit. I have been doing this for over 2 weeks now without a single instance of a lost CF or SD card. This also has eliminated the 'Does Not Turn On' issue for me at least. No effect on battery life. Try it if it does not work for you turn BT off and your back where you were. I tried this first before what you posted simply because I am not comfortable messing with the registery files on my PPC or any of my PCs.
