Question X51v WM5 "Insert Storage Card" issue when devices is off for 15 min or more

Searched around, see similar but not exact issue. I may have the cause, but not sure.

I have an X50v I am keeping as a back up on 2003 (rolled back after the horrible upgrade) that works w/o issue, that I have had for over 1 year, so if the X51v give me too much @#$# I can just switch over and sync the X50v. However I got such a good deal on the X51v that I wanted to pick it up.

Everything on the X51v seems fine except one issue.

If I leave the system off for more than one hour / undocked when I turn the X51v on, it says Insert Storage Card in the area for SPB Pocket Plus. The other parts of Pocket Plus launch, just not the calendar portion. If I reset the SD card (1GB San Disk Ultra) it is fine in a second.

My CF Card (Also 1GB SanDisk) has nothing on it at all, so there has never been a problem with that card.

When I upgraded Tweaks32 I moved DLL files to SD like I did on the X50v where it works fine. I just moved the DLL files back to Windows on the X51v.

Anyone with any ideas?

After you have upgraded to ROM A04, turn your BT (blue tooth) on and leave it on even when shutting down your unit. I have done this for over 3 weeks now and have not lost my CF or SD cards even a single time. This also has stopped any 'Does Not Turn On' issues I was having. The battery drain is 2% in 8 hours.

I have not upgraded the ROM, still holding off since A04 has not fixed hardly anything.

I do not have the battery drain issue, I fixed that by removing the battery meters from the today screen.

The only issue I have currently is the storage card.

As I said above your storeage card issue can be solved by turning on you BT feature and leaving it on even when turning off your unit.

The registry hack was tried and did not fix the issue, the bluetooth was tried and that does no fix the issue. I moved SPB's Diary off thd SD card in hopes that may help.
